The Creative Director oversees the creative team and is responsible for developing and delivering both quality of content and style according to client strategy and branding guidelines.
Primary responsibilities include managing/mentoring a team of creatives from project start to finish, developing high quality scientific content, partnering with all stakeholders to meet objectives, and collaborating with the Client Services and Medical teams to ensure that client needs are met in a timely way all while maintaining your own workload.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Creation and Development of Scientific Concepts and Content
- 1. Leads creative team in the execution of ideas to a high level of creative excellence.
- 2. Oversees creation of concepts for presentation to clients, developing compelling and captivating presentations that are organized, professional and effective in support of client strategy.
- 3. Creates and presents content in a variety of media in support of client strategy and objectives.
- 4. Critically reviews materials from internal and external sources for inclusion and/or inspiration to develop creative concepts and assets.
- 5. Manages and mentors direct reports while providing challenges and opportunities for growth.
- 6. Identifies, develops, recommends and/or negotiates scientifically sound, creative solutions to meet clients’ critical business needs.
- Partner with Key Stakeholders in Meeting Project Objectives
- 1. Directly interacts with client to ensure client objectives are met.
- 2. Collaboratively interacts with all internal stakeholders to deliver quality work in a timely fashion
- 4. Participates in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of creative work aligned to client and project goals.
- 5. Ensures awareness of current trends within the industry and establishes global best practices regarding system(s) enhancement, usage and training.
- 6. Provides creative expertise to functional area representatives on projects and deliverables.
- 8. Provides regular updates to COO on project and client status, as well as on resource needs.
- NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO PREFORM THIS ROLE:
- 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Graphic Design or related field
- 2. 10+ years of experience in medical communications, marketing or advertising preferred
- 3. Computer Proficiency; solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and other design programs
- 4. Must be a strong team player and be willing to work in an environment where individual initiative and accountability to the team are required
- 5. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- 6. Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively
- 7. Solutions-oriented, with excellent organizational skills
- 8. Ability to travel for representation of company at client meetings, advisory boards, medical or industry conferences, pitch presentations, and other meetings as needed

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $87,800.00 - $244,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
