Join our Haleon Oral Health Process Engineering team based in Weybridge, for a 12-month Industrial Placement, starting in July 2026.

If you’re a second year university student eager to kickstart your career in process engineering, this is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders, apply your skills, and contribute to the development of world-renowned oral care products like Aquafresh, Corsodyl, parodontax and Sensodyne.
As a Process Engineer placement student at Haleon you are responsible for supporting the maintenance of oral care products by changing formulations and/or processes and evaluation of materials and products around the world. You'll work on exciting projects with tight timelines that directly contribute to Haleon’s product launches in a competitive global market.
You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving Oral Care products by optimising formulations, processes, and materials.
Throughout your placement, you’ll gain valuable experience by:
- Supporting the team in conducting Raw Material, Process, and Technical Risk Assessments.
- Developing Batch Manufacturing Instructions and working on the design of experiments to drive process improvements.
- Assisting in scaling up processes from the lab to pilot plant and eventually to full manufacturing scale.
- Participating in equipment validation and cleaning validation, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Education Requirements:
- We welcome applicants from all degree disciplines, however degrees in chemical or related engineering disciplines are particularly advantageous for this placement.
- If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree, you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university.
- Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.
Role Start Date: July 2026

- Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work.
- Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behaviour based online assessment/interview.
- One-Way Video Interview – if selected you receive a link to complete an online interview focusing on your motivation for joining Haleon and what transferrable skills you will bring to the role. This will be screened by the Early Talent Team.
- Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a virtual interview; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
- Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview.
