R&D Regulatory Affairs Industrial Placement 2026, UK

Join our Haleon R&D Regulatory Affairs Team  in Weybrdige for an exciting 12-month industrial placement, starting in July 2025 

At A Glance:

Regulatory Affairs involves devising strategies with the most appropriate classification for a consumer healthcare product to reach the market, as well as preparing dossiers for submission to regulatory agencies globally and then once launched, maintaining the dossiers post licence, and filing applications to make changes to the licence where necessary.   

You will have the opportunity to work directly with and learn from experienced Regulatory teams who will support you to reach your full potential. You will learn about our trusted global brands, across Oral Health, Pain Relief, Respiratory, Skin Health, Gastrointestinal Health, and Wellness, on brands such as Panadol, Sensodyne, Aquafresh, Parodontax, Beechams and Centrum.  

Depending on the role you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience across a variety of regulatory activities for Haleon products and product classifications, such as Cosmetics, Medical Devices, Medicines, Food Supplements and Naturals and providing regulatory support to assigned products/projects. 

R&D Regulatory Affairs Industrial Placement:

Please note there are multiple opportunities available within the Regulatory Affairs Teams below: 

• EMEA Regional Regulatory Affairs – (Europe)  
• Product Lifecycle Management Regulatory Affairs (Non Medicinal)  
• Product Lifecycle Management Regulatory Affairs (Medicinal)  
• Regulatory Affairs Oral Health  
• You must currently be studying for your Undergraduate Degree in: A science related subject.  

• Regulatory Affairs Labelling

Education Requirements:

If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.  

Role Start Date: July 2026

Application Process:

The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:

• Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work.
• Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behaviour based online assessment/interview.
• One-Way Video Interview – if selected you receive a link to complete an online interview focusing on your motivation for joining Haleon and what transferrable skills you will bring to the role. This will be screened by the Early Talent Team.
• Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a virtual interview; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
• Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview.

 

Interviews will be held in November/December 2025
