Responsibilities:

• Research market needs and consumer motivations in the make-up industry, focusing on on-demand color cosmetic mixing technologies.
• Participate in concept generation, idea sketching, and brainstorming sessions to develop product directions.
• Able to construct the 3D model and conduct prototype making for presenting looks like and works like sample for show case and demonstration.  
• Validate tooling, product design, BOM, manufacturing processes and design inspection protocol through PE functions.
• Assess and give recommendation on the product design and manufacturing technology from factories.
• Build and test early prototypes using tools like SolidWorks for RP;  Arduino, and Raspberry Pi or similar devices for the control of mechanism.
• Reinforce workflow guidelines to clarify roles & responsibilities and enhance collaboration with all related parties and ensure effective execution.
• Participate to lead the meetings related to Engineering aspects with China factories, sales office, and customers.
• Conduct factory evaluation/development to ensure the suppliers comply with the company standards, and customer’s requirements, based on the processes and guidelines.
• Maintain manufacturing efficiency to match required capacity and show up the leadership in supplier base to represent our company.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential risks supported by contingency plan with strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting capability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Packaging Material or related discipline.
• Familiar the trends and solid experience in Cosmetic Makeup Industry
• 5-10 years+ experience in manufacturing or project management in sizeable or multinational manufacturer or buying office of which 2 years at managerial position.
• Hands on possess analytical and trouble shooting skills.
• Skillful / expertise in Solidworks / Arduino software
• Strong understanding of requirement in manufacturing process for component.
• Have better understanding the consumption behaviors, aspirations and challenges of consumers.
• Have great interesting for applying new technology into cosmetics device.  
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with supplier, customer and internal departments
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Fluent English
