About The Role
As Commercial Director for Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake, you will be a key member of the Planning Committee, reporting directly to the General Manager and responsible for all commercial functions of the hotel. You will lead Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Reservations, Catering, and Public Relations, driving strategies that maximise revenue, profitability, and market share. With a clear focus on results, you will also be an ambassador of the Four Seasons brand, ensuring our positioning in the Hanoi market reflects both excellence and authenticity.
This role requires a visionary leader who can inspire teams, build trusted partnerships with ownership and corporate colleagues, and translate market insights into actionable strategies that strengthen Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi’s reputation as a market leader in luxury hospitality.
What You Will Do
- Lead and Inspire: Direct a multidisciplinary team across Sales, Revenue, Marketing, Reservations, Catering, and Public Relations, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Shape Commercial Strategy: Partner with the General Manager, Planning Committee, and corporate teams to align business objectives with revenue-generating strategies and growth initiatives.
- Optimise Revenue: Oversee pricing, distribution, and revenue management strategies to maximise RevPAR, profitability, and competitive performance.
- Drive Business Development: Lead strategic sales initiatives, manage key accounts, and strengthen partnerships in corporate, group, and leisure segments.
- Advance Marketing and Communications: Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications plan, leveraging both digital and traditional channels to drive awareness and preference.
- Strengthen Brand and PR: Champion the Four Seasons brand voice, overseeing public relations strategies and partnerships to enhance the hotel’s reputation locally and globally.
- Analyse and Adapt: Monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and customer engagement to identify opportunities and ensure sustained leadership in the luxury segment.
- Represent the Hotel: Build trusted relationships with ownership, corporate stakeholders, and industry partners; represent Four Seasons Hanoi in commercial forums and key markets.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a senior commercial leadership role within luxury hospitality; prior Four Seasons experience is highly valued.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth through Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management.
- Strong understanding of distribution channels, digital marketing strategies, and revenue optimisation tools.
- Solid knowledge of the regional and international luxury travel markets; Vietnam or broader Southeast Asia experience is an asset.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop diverse teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; additional language skills such as Mandarin or Vietnamese are advantageous.
- A creative, forward-thinking mindset with the ability to innovate within a structured global brand environment.
- High degree of professional integrity and adaptability, with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Flexibility to travel to key feeder markets and represent the hotel as required.
