About The Role:

The Food Runner is a crucial restaurant position whose responsibility is communicating with guests and supporting both servers and kitchen staff. The Food Runner position assists the Food Server in providing an expertly served dining experience ensuring all dishes are correctly prepared and presented. This requires a person with the hospitality spirit to connect with guests, ensure all details are attended to and communicates positively and effectively with team members. This position requires a friendly and calm demeanor in a sometimes hectic and demanding environment.

What You Will Do:

• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
• Demonstrate the Four Seasons Standards of Service
• Retrieve and stock all linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
• Ensure all silver equipment is in good condition and polished.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
• Offer guests of the restaurant an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
• Maintain and retrieve all food items from the kitchen and attractively and safely transport them to an outlet.
• Work closely and communicate with the kitchen staff.
• Carry trays properly and safely as well as break them down.
• Clear tables and reset them for specific number of persons.

What You Bring:

• Friendly and Calm Demeanor
• Previous experience in Food and Beverage roles and employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset  
• Strong communication skills

Schedule & Hours:

•    Successful candidates will be hired as casual, part time employee. Successful candidates are expected to work day and night shifts, holidays, and/or weekends.
