Come to our Job Fair located at our Yukon/Ruffs Dale plant (567 Waltz Mill Rd, Ruffs Dale, PA 15679) on October 8th from 11am-5pm and 9th from 8am-12pm to learn about careers at Menasha!

We currently have openings for General Labor roles (outlined below) and an Electrical Technician (2nd shift). Please see a job fair representative for more information about our other opportunities.

General Labor Role:

Job Duties

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures 
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines 
• Understand production work orders, load tags, time sheets and all other relevant documents, and palletizing instructions 
• Understand computer system and input of data 
• Perform quality checks on products (board grade, flutes, single face/double face sides and overall board quality) and identify defects 
• Maintain production efficiencies and standards 
• Perform miscellaneous job functions in an accurate and efficient manner, such as: 
• Assist operators in efficient operation of the machine centers 
• Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area  
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements 
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors 

• Packing

• Palletizing

• Bundling

• Stacking

• Sorting

• Load Tags

Essential to this Position

Manufacturing General Labor pay starts at $21.05 and increases to $22.02 after 120 days.
 

Opportunities: Able to sign for posted jobs after 60 days, which will provide higher wages than general labor.

• Shifts: 1st: 7:00 am to 3:00pm, 2nd: 3:00pm to 11:00pm, 3rd: 11:00pm to 7:00am
• The role begins on 1st shift for the first week (training), but candidates must be open to working 2nd or 3rd shift thereafter.

You must be comfortable working mandatory overtime, including weekends, as needed.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent - preferred

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

• Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner  
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business 
• Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed 
• Ability to effectively work in teams 
• Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people 
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles 
• Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job 
• Basic math and reading skills
