Accounts Receivable Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Accounts Receivable Manager to provide cover during a 2–3 month paternity leave and ensure continuity of our receivables and related finance processes. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will lead a team of two, manage invoicing and collections, and take responsibility for complex reconciliations, commissions, and ticket payables/COGS.
This role ensures that operational AR runs smoothly, freeing the Director of Accounting to focus on strategic initiatives and growth priorities. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with leadership ability and thrives in a fast-paced events and hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of two AR staff, providing guidance, delegation, and escalation support.
- Manage the full AR cycle, including invoicing, reconciliations, aging analysis, and collections.
- Prepare and review complex account reconciliations.
- Manage commissions calculations and payouts.
- Handle ticket payables and event-related cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial data in NetSuite, coordinating reconciliations with ticketing and reservations systems.
- Deliver weekly AR and debtor reports with commentary on risks, opportunities, and cash flow.
- Support process improvements to strengthen AR controls and efficiency.
You Have These:
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable management, preferably within hospitality, events, or a similar high-volume industry.
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliations, commissions, and COGS management.
- Demonstrated people management skills, with experience leading small teams.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and familiarity with ticketing/reservations systems.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment with shifting priorities.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Rate Minimum:
$45,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)Hiring Rate Maximum:
