Ibotta is seeking an Information Technology Intern to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As a participant in our 2026 Summer Internship, you will have the opportunity to fully integrate with your team to directly contribute to ongoing Ibotta business initiatives. In addition to the daily time with your team, you will participate in ongoing teach outs curated to help build skills essential to transitioning into the workforce and building your career. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn, excited to work on real-world business challenges, and want to be part of a mission-driven company. 

This will be a full-time, 12 week, internship during the summer of 2026. This is a hybrid position located in Denver, Colorado and requires 3 days in-office per week. Required in-office hybrid days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Providing Tier 1 desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, account provisioning, and managing peripheral devices
  • Assisting in onboarding and offboarding tasks, such as preparing workstations, provisioning access, and assisting IT orientations for new hires
  • Maintaining IT asset inventory, tracking hardware/software lifecycle, and participating in equipment refresh efforts
  • Learning and utilizing ITSM (IT Service Management) tools to log, track, and resolve service requests
  • Participating in system monitoring and reporting, helping identify recurring issues or performance bottlenecks in desktop environments
  • Assisting in documenting internal IT procedures, user guides, and knowledge base articles for both technical and non-technical users
  • Observe and support higher-level infrastructure planning, automation, and support workflows

What We Are Looking For:

  • Juniors working towards a bachelor’s degree with a focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
  • Proven ability to think creatively and implement ideas from start to finish
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Hunger to learn and collaborate with your teammate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine curiosity and passion for technology and customer service
  • Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS)
  • Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role 
  • Experience building or upgrading your own computer
  • Exposure to a scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) a plus
  • Familiarity with Okta, Microsoft 365/Azure, Google Workspace or similar IdP a plus
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) a plus

Additional Details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay and housing assistance for out of state students. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.
  • The hourly compensation for this role is: $21.15 per hour worked. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market.
