We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join Norton Rose Fulbright’s Innovation team as an Innovation Analyst. The role of the Innovation Analyst is to support and assist the Innovation team with managing the existing technology stack. In this role, the Innovation Analyst will (1) handle maintenance and administration of legal technology owned and supported by the Innovation team and (2) provide ongoing support of the Firm’s lawyers and other internal stakeholders to drive adoption of those solutions by applying change management best practices. 

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in project management, a solid understanding of the legal technology landscape, and be able to communicate with stakeholders globally across various business services teams, practice groups, and vendors. The Innovation Analyst supports day-to-day operations of existing tools and platforms and helps highlight opportunities to maximize their value across the firm.

This role reports to the Director of Innovation, US and will work collaboratively with other members of the Innovation team, as well as across legal teams and with other business services departments. The role may be hybrid/remote in a Firm approved U.S. state. 

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise for technologies owned by Innovation.
  • Monitor enhancements and future developments on vendor product roadmaps to ensure our stakeholders are up to date on the latest versions of our tools.
  • Administer tools in the firm’s tech stack where Innovation is business owner, including user management and troubleshooting.
  • Support the design and development of the Innovation training program and use cases.
  • Deliver training to our business service personnel and lawyers on Innovation tools and technology.
  • Maintain and promote an up-to-date inventory of Innovation tools, prompt libraries, and related services for firmwide access.
  • Cultivate internal stakeholder relationships with lawyers and business service personnel across our global practice support functions. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of implemented solutions, collecting feedback and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Utilize data visualization techniques to prepare reports on Innovation team projects in a clear, concise, and visually appealing manner.
  • Assist with operations and other deliverables for innovation projects as needed.

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a law firm preferred, specifically within the Innovation, LPM, or Knowledge Management functions.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the legal technology landscape, including trends, tools, and industry standards.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to generate buy in from stakeholders and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess technology-related challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools, enabling effective communication of complex information.
