We are seeking a talented Team Manager - Business Intelligence to join us in Cluj-Napoca, Romania at our EMEA Technology Hub. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As the Team Manager for the Career Products Business Intelligence team, you and your team will lead the design, development, and deployment of reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision making across the organization. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions, interpret drivers of results, and provide actionable insights that will drive revenue.

We will count on you to

  • Define and execute the BI roadmap, setting priorities to align BI initiatives with strategic business goals and new client solutions.
  • Supervise the interpretation of complex data sets and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely information for decision-making. Stay current with new solution development and the full lifecycle of data delivery and interpretation.
  • Guide the design, implementation, and maintenance of reporting and its underlying data warehouse. Ensure team-wide fidelity to requirements, timeliness and accuracy.
  • Ensure team adherence to technical and business standards, best practices, and peer review to ensure consistency, accuracy, and maintainability across all deliverables and supporting data.
  • Stay current with BI innovations, recommending improvements to enhance team ability to deliver insights and answers beyond data presentation.
  • Liaise with finance and leadership roles through the Career organization, provide the "why" answers to results of analyses/reports; what is driving results.
  • Partner with a range of global market-facing teams to understand local business climate & needs, elicit context for sales & revenue performance, and provide actionable insights that will drive additional revenue within each geography.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the BI team, fostering a collaborative environment to build overall BI capabilities.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of BI projects, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and implementation.

What you need to have

  • Excellent communication both in English and Romanian 
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical and business support teams
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into practical business solutions. 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on providing both the core results necessary to interpret business performance and distilling those results into actionable insights.
  • Strong command of data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and understanding of data modeling and ETL processes. Experience in report design & creation for decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in fast moving environment. Commitment to continuous improvement in offerings and interpretation

  • A deep understanding of data concepts and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. Ability to understand complex and multi-faceted rules regarding product-based analyses.
  • Excellent leadership skills to motivate a team, and strong verbal and written communication to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative: identifying and proposing new analyses to uncover client and market trends that influence sales and client retention, effectively operating within a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment across diverse regions.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, including change management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
