Job Description: Regulatory Event Tracking (RET) Reporting Analyst, VP (Hybrid)

Location: Tampa, FL


The Regulatory Strategy and Development team is responsible for aligning the Regulatory Event Tracking (RET)system with the Regulatory Engagement Strategy and ensure all required regulatory information is accurately tracked, managed and reported.


The Reporting Analyst – VP (C13) is a senior-level professional responsible for managing and enhancing the reporting infrastructure of the Regulatory Event Tracking (RET) system. This role requires deep expertise in regulatory reporting, data governance, and control adherence. The analyst will ensure that RET reporting is aligned with application updates and meets evolving user requirements.


This position involves cross-functional collaboration, strategic oversight, and hands-on execution of reporting and data transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to regulatory compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • •    Manage and maintain the RET system reporting layer, ensuring alignment with recent application updates and user requirements.
  • •    Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support Regulatory Event Tracking.
  • •    Monitor Data Control Requirement Matrices (DCRMs) and enhance RET adherence to control frameworks including:
  • •    Cross Border Data Clearance
  • •    Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)
  • •    Lead or support data transformation and migration activities as needed.
  • •    Collaborate with stakeholders to assess reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • •    Liaise with technology teams for system enhancements, data integration, and issue resolution, ensuring seamless data flow and reporting capabilities.
  • •    Conduct thorough business analysis to identify reporting needs, process improvements, and system enhancements.
  • •    Write clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs) for system and reporting functionalities, translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • •    Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • •    Contribute to process improvement initiatives and reporting automation.
  • •    Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8–10+ years in financial services or regulatory reporting roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)•    Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL)•    Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and data governance•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills•    Strong Business Analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis.•    Proven ability to write clear and comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).•    Experience liaising effectively with technology teams and bridging the gap between business and IT.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
