GDIT is seeking a Senior Director Capture, US Cyber Command with primary responsibility for leading and winning new business opportunities with the United States Cyber Command (USCC) and other IC markets. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Growth, Space and Cyber Intelligence Sector (SCIS) as part of the Intelligence and Homeland Security (IHS) Growth team. You will lead pre-proposal shaping activities, orchestrate capture activities during the proposal phase and post-submittal activities, and must show a proven methodology toward increasing win probability. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
In this position, you will be responsible for leading capture activities in support of winning key opportunities within the USCC and IC business of the Space and Cyber Intelligence Sector. As a Senior Director of Capture, you will be responsible for pursuing and winning new business contracts with a values ranging up to $1B. You will be a key member of the Growth Team, collaborating with operations and engineering personnel across business units to capture and win opportunities primarily within the IC customer markets.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Senior Director Capture, US Cyber Command must have:
● Education: Bachelor's degree required
● Experience: 10+ years of of proven experience in capturing and winning new business ($100M+ opportunities preferred) in the Maryland-based IC markets. Additional experience will include relevant business development, capture, proposal, and/or government sales/marketing experience in the USCC and/or IC markets.
● Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage a high performance team of professionals towards achieving business objectives. This includes experience running black hats, analyzing competitive landscapes, leading review teams, and the ability to develop and implement creative strategies into winning bids including a thorough understanding of price to win analysis.
● Technical skills:
- Candidates must demonstrate strong quantitative and analysis skills to analyze market and customer trends and be well versed in industry practices/trends/leaders with knowledge of respective acquisition/procurement policies and regulations.
- Candidates must also possess excellent written/verbal communications skills, presentation skills, organizational time management skills; team building skills, and display a strong sales presence.
- Knowledge of major industry competitors in the Maryland-based IC markets is required.
● Security clearance level: Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph required to start

● Role requirements:
- Responsible for pursuing opportunities within the Federal IC (USCC and IC) space.
- Provide strategic thinking and execution for capture efforts through determining capture team resource requirements and managing costs throughout the Bid Acquisition Process.
- Engage with customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to qualify new business opportunities.
- Interfaces between Business Development and internal and external stakeholders (Business Units, Operations and Engineering Staff, and Corporate functional organizations) to develop technical, management and pricing strategies.
- Understand capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses and direct the development of solution development, CONOPS and path to win.
- Manage multiple capture efforts in conjunction depending upon where the opportunity resides in the acquisition process.
- Provide customer and business knowledge through business intelligence to ensure the team fully understands the desires and needs of the customers and the capabilities of potential competitors.
- Develop win themes and strategies including value propositions. Identify and obtain commitment from industry partners to include OEMs to bridge gaps and increase the Pwin.
- Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost.
- Co-Lead with cost estimating team the pricing strategy to provide alignment to the solution and the optimal cost advantage for the bid.
- Co-Lead with Proposal Manager the color team reviews to ensure that reviews are conducted in a repeatable manner adhering to procedures and processes.
- Supports continual business development process improvement.
- Responsible for capturing, documenting, maintaining and reporting capture and pursuit metrics.
- Meets and/or exceeds performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and success while maintaining and implementing a professional approach to include full awareness and compliance of applicable Federal Procurement and Business Ethics Codes and Regulations.
