Sr. Engineer (Reliability)
What You Will Do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems and processes. This role involves leading technical initiatives, supporting quality systems, and driving data-informed decisions to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Specific Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Own system reliability and performance, driving consistent, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (e.g., OEE, downtime) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Implement design enhancements that improve system efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Build predictive models and automated tools to proactively monitor system health and performance.
- Conduct data-driven root cause analyses to support investigations, CAPAs, and quality system activities.
- Translate complex technical insights into clear, actionable updates for multi-functional teams.
- Act as an expert for complex systems, equipment, and processes, providing technical leadership across operations.
- Lead and support troubleshooting efforts, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Support engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaborate with customers to align engineering solutions with operational and business needs.
- Support critical process monitoring to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to promote innovation and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in Engineering
Or
Master’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of Engineering and/or Mfg Support experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 years of Engineering and/or Mfg Support experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in equipment reliability, lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
- Strong background in reliability engineering tools, including FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Proficient in structured problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC and root cause analysis tools including Fishbone diagrams and others.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams in resolving system-level technical challenges.
- Skilled in translating complex technical data into actionable insights for diverse customers.
- Excellent technical writing and bilingual communication skills (Spanish and English).
- Flexibility to support non-standard shifts, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
