In order to continue supporting Allegro's business growth and committing the investment in this strategic region for our long-term development, we are hiring an OEM Account Sales Manager in China. The position will manage the direct car OEM engagement to build deep partnerships and influence the key OEM’s long-term technical roadmap and adopt Allegro’s product portfolios in Tier 1’s product supply. Also deeply involved in BU’s product definition and regional strategy to drive new growth areas in the Chinese market to secure future business growth. The efforts will include, but are not limited to new product promotion, new application development, and potential customer development for sensor and power product portfolios.
This position is desired to be based in Shanghai and will report to the China Auto Sales Director, China Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead OEM and related internal T1s engagement(e.g. Geely, Chery, Li-Auto, NIO, Xiaomi) in East China to build/explore deeper partnership and collaboration
- Responsible for products/solutions promotion to car OEMs and related internal T1s.
- Provide technical expertise to the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations with FAE and Auto BD.
- Understand OEM/Internal T1s technical roadmap and requirements, especially for xEV Powertrain, Chassis and E/E architectures.
- May include finding, generating, and developing new OEM/T1 partners to sell the company’s products to end users.
- Suggest proper products/solutions to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions together with FAE and Auto BD.
- This is a strategic account management position. Target accounts will have a major strategic impact on the long-term success of the organization.
- Work with HQ business units on the development of promotion strategies and the detailed implementation plan in the region as well as a competitive technology roadmap.
- Figure out emerging areas and applications in alignment with BUs
- Partner with Sales to develop new customers to reflect emerging application areas.
- Work closely with the regional sales manager to develop and implement the sales strategies
- Skills and Requirements
- - Bachelor's or above degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or automotive engineering
- - 5+ years of working experience in the semiconductor/automotive industry as BDM, Account sales, etc. It will be a plus if the candidates know automotive systems and various electrical systems
- - Highly developed strategic thinking and storytelling skills
- - Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
- - Willing to travel domestically and globally
