Role Detail
Reporting to the Planning & Reporting Manager, you will join the wider FP&A team who play a critical role in reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
Based in the Sydney CBD office, with a balanced approach to WFH, this contract will have a primary focus on reporting, with an ability for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing timely and accurate monthly Management reports and Partner reporting
- Continuous improvement of the month end reporting process to deliver relevant, accurate and timely financial information in an efficient manner
- Taking a lead role in annual forecast and budget cycles to prepare revenue, expense, and capital profitability forecasts as required
- Running ad hoc queries and reports to assist with the evaluation of the profitability and performance of practice teams against budgets
- Utilising BI tools, such as Power BI, to identify opportunities for enhancing reporting and financial performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting
- Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial reporting and BI tools to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.

- Degree in Business or Commerce (or similar) and be CA or CPA qualified
- A few years commercial experience post-graduation in analytical, reporting and budgeting roles
- Experience using dashboard and query analysis tools for analysis and reporting (e.g., Power BI)
- High level of attention to detail and conceptual skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Management accounting experience in a professional services firm or Top 100 ASX company, or similar disciplined environment will be looked on favourably
