Now you have the opportunity to join the transition from legacy core policy systems to the standard platform Guidewire. The transformation has been ongoing for several years and now the time has come to move program to our brand new scaled agile setup – the Guidewire DK Tribe.
About The Role
You will serve as a bridge between the business service desk, Guidewire development teams, and IT operations. In your daily work, you will balance between short-term issue resolution and long-term initiatives including task forces. Your responsibility will include identifying and optimizing processes to build a professional and robust operations organization around the Guidewire platform, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
You will also have a very close collaboration with the Guidewire platform team to resolve technical issues and the DevOps team to work with tasks regarding environments and releases.
You will be responsible for producing and communicating the necessary reporting regarding the status of the platform including incidents/problems, performance and availability.
Overall, you will play a central role in the daily operations and wellbeing of the platform.

About The Team
You will lead a team of incident handlers who monitor the platform through incident ques and various monitoring tools. The task of the team is to communicate and prioritize the issues with the business and dispatch incidents to the relevant development teams. In cross-platform related issues the team will work closely with the Tech and Platform team to facilitate the solving of the issues. You will have approx. 7-10 people in HR reference.
The team is part of a tribe of around 150 talented colleagues from both IT and business. The tribe’s mission is to service Business Area Private DK and Agriculture DK. We actively develop and run a modern core system platform, moving beyond legacy limitations to ensure we continuously meet future demands. By building on business needs and IT guidelines, we enable efficient operations, product agility, and excellent customer experiences.

Who Are You?
We are looking for an experienced Tech leader with a strong background in platform operations and management. You have excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead complex problem-solving. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about technology and insurance industry trends.
You Also Have:
- Proven experience in managing a maintenance and operations team within a complex enterprise system setup
- Strong understanding of insurance core systems or other core systems within the financial sector
- Preferably a technical background as a developer, SW architect or technical project management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead and mentor team members
- A proactive approach to troubleshooting and process improvements
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks is a plus
