About The Role

  • As a Global Brand Innovation Manager (d/f/m), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the global innovation and brand strategy for our Hankies & Facials category.
  • Although this role does not entail direct managerial oversight, you will serve as a crucial contributor to innovation initiatives within international, cross-functional teams.

This is a Fixed-term position (13 months) based in Aschheim, Munich, which is our global hub for innovation and brand, driving the future of our categories worldwide.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the global innovation strategy, driving value creation through innovations in the Hankies & Facials category
  • Innovation Ownership: Identify and capitalize on new opportunities and gaps to enhance the innovation pipeline, aligned with consumer segmentation and brand architecture. Take end-to-end responsibility for innovation projects
  • Matrix Collaboration: As a project leader you will lead cross functional international teams: partner closely with R&D, the insight team as well as regional marketing and commercial teams
  • Business Impact: You will ensure that your projects contribute effectively to Essity’s business objectives.

Who You Are

  • Extensive experience (minimum 8 years) in international brand management, innovation, and marketing activation within the FMCG sector, ideally in a matrix organization
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering global innovation projects with significant business impact
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with a comprehensive understanding of P&L management and brand architecture
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in influencing and motivating international, cross-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high level of initiative, and a passion for innovation
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, Spanish, French) are a plus
  • Work with iconic brands in a truly international environment
  • Be part of a global innovation team at our Munich hub for brand building
  • Shape the future of the category and take responsibility for sustainable growth
