Summary Of Job Responsibilites:
The Technical Program Manager- IoT is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of robust technical projects within Captium. This role involves architecting technical solutions with cross-functional teams, both inside and outside of IDEX Fire & Safety from a position inside the elevat organization, validating those solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of Captium and other IoT related products. This position operates within the hosting agency, elevat and works closely with both elevat and IDEX resources to develop new products and features as well as supporting existing infrastructure.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Align user stories and required features with internal technical solutions in elevat Azure system.
- Build out Ui and back-end technical code and solutions and envision the larger roadmap and how the new feature set fits into the larger ecosystem.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of technical projects, from initiation or assignment to completion.
- Develop and manage program schedules, identifying risks and communicating goals to stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on program status regularly to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget.
- Utilize technical knowledge to implement technology strategies and ensure effective delivery.
- Interface with engineering managers, engineers, and outside resources to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage resources.
- Resolve technical and operational problems within the project scope and reset program as needed for technical issues priority changes or strategic alignment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within defined scope, quality, time, and production cost requirements as required.
- Provide leadership and build alignment for efforts such as product architecture and development.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks that could impact project success.
- Escalate potential issues or risks that could affect the successful delivery of the project.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Ensure adherence to established standards and methodologies as well as establish new validation methodology to ensure successful feature deployment.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical program management or a related role.
Other Qualifications:
- Expert in IoT solutions on MS Azure platforms, including API design, query parameters, methods and payload structures.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Skilled at operating a technical pod within a host organization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
- Excellent communication skills especially with remote communication across different teams.
- Manage ambiguity and shifting technical requirements to achieve successful feature release.
- Must live in Seattle Washington

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $104,500.00 - $156,700.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.Benefits Package
