Do you want to secure an outstanding LEGO Building Experience - both for the physical and digital Building Instructions?
And can you ensure that all components to the building experience support an accurate Building Instructions design? Then this position is for you!
Come join the Building Experience (BX) Platform Team and mature and enable new building experience content platforms, by ensuring scalable and repeatable solutions within our current platforms (graphic assets, software, production methods, workflow, and guidelines) as well as investigating new platforms!
Core Responsibilities
- Ensuring sustainable and appropriate quality for new building Experience (BX) content in digital and physical building instructions. By collaborating closely with both Product and Marketing Development specialists and Operation departments.
- Investigate capabilities: Research and explore opportunities of new and enhanced knowledge and processes in the production environment (2D & 3D) to mature new BX concepts supporting scalability in our content platform.
- Content (guides) creation, documentation, communication across teams, on all new BX content platforms.
- Continuously ensure that the BX Design System and Governance is updated with new design descriptions (BX database).
- Opportunity investigation on both digital and printed building instructions experiences on a content level by e.g. build testing with kids and/or other consumers.
- Participate in Pilot projects in which maturing of concepts is needed to have a repeatable and scalable BX content platform for future system and tools.

Do you have what it takes?
- A background in areas such as product development, product experience design, user-centered design, or related fields.
- OR proven working experience in similar areas.
Hard Skills:
- Proven experience with project- & product development.
- Data driven consumer (e.g. kids) investigation, user test and validation.
- Technical writer or other graphic user interface documentation work.
- Superuser in MS Office – especially communication and presentation tools.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D design software tools & media technologies. e.g. Maya, Adobe Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, or similar.
- Knowledge of prototyping and creating mockups for e.g. test exploration of concepts, processes and tools.
Soft Skills:
- Comfortable facilitating workshops, discussions and communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including specialists, managers, and other team members.
- Takes ownership for driving tasks both individually and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Open to making decisions on both minor adjustments and significant changes, demonstrating confidence and ownership in the choices made.
- Works effectively within a structured framework while remaining comfortable with changes in the working environment; demonstrates bravery and curiosity by asking questions and maintaining an open mind.
Nice To Haves:
- Understanding of the LEGO consumers and the BX Language.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance of overall product experience.
- Proficient in spoken English at a high level, with strong writing skills suitable for creating design manuals and similar documents.
- Eager to learn and grow, while actively fostering a culture of development and encouragement among team members.
