Role Profile:
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Finance Director to lead strategic finance initiatives across our EMEA Sales & Account Management organisation. This role will be pivotal in shaping the financial strategy, driving commercial performance, and delivering transformational cost and revenue outcomes. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, bringing deep financial insight, commercial acumen, and a track record of delivering enterprise-wide impact
Role Summary:
- The role will form part of the Regional SAM Leadership team in EMEA to drive sales performance for the Region across our Regional Managed Accounts (RMA) and LSEG Customer Connect (LCC)
- Finance engagement will include operational focus across the matrix, working with a number of adjacent groups across to drive performance and offer insight to a range of senior level Partners and interested parties
- Overall, the role is a great opportunity for personal development in a key role that brings together the running of a specific geographical region with a wider perspective of how we can operate more efficiently to drive margin and delight our customers
What You'Ll Be Doing:
- Strategic Finance Leadership: Partner with the SAM Leadership Team to define and implement financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
- Business Partnering and Influence: Operate as the main Finance Business Partner for the SAM Leadership Team in EMEA, driving performance of Sales, Annual Subscription Value (ASV) and Revenue whilst ensuring effective management of operating expenses
- Performance Optimization: Spearhead pivotal initiatives to drive sales performance, including the design and adoption of incentives, tracking individual level performance, challenging forecast results and driving the key underlying deals within EMEA
- Deal Approval: Acting as part of the regional approval committee for key customer deals
- Global Collaboration: Working within the Global SAM Finance framework to collaborate on the consistency and efficiency of our global processes that are key to the delivery of our core Finance metrics. This will include collaboration across a variety of Finance teams (SAM Finance, Product Finance, Controllership and FP&A) to ensure we maintain a transparency of data and underlying processes to analyze and forecast outcomes for the EMEA region.
What You'Ll Bring:
- Proven experience operating at a finance leadership level within complex, matrixed organisations.
- Strong commercial foresight with the ability to assess customer value, and strategic alignment.
- Exceptional partner management skills, with a track record of influencing senior leadership teams.
- Deep understanding of financial modelling, scenario planning, and performance reporting across global operations.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insight and strategic recommendations.
- CIMA (or equivalent) qualified with extensive years of progressive finance experience in financial services or technology sectors.
- A collaborative, inclusive, and forward-thinking colleague who thrives in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
