Manager Software Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Software Engineering with strong full-stack development expertise in Java, Angular, and relational databases. This role is critical to leading the design, architecture, and delivery of complex, scalable solutions within our Commercial Technology division.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven expertise in:
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and manage cross-functional teams.
• Java / Spring Boot
• Angular
• SQL

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Experience in the HealthCare Technology domain.
• Exposure to RedShift database and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Certifications in cloud technologies or Agile methodologies

What would you be doing in this role:

Technical Leadership & Project Execution

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to define technical direction and deliverables.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure applications using Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and database technologies.
• Drive best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery milestones.
• Ensure high-quality code and adherence to architectural standards.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and security issues.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

You’ll join Provider vertical having a suite of products to provide transparency in the provider market, a high-impact team building the industry's most intelligent affiliations platform for the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector. We empower market access teams with precise, provider-level insights to understand healthcare system alignments and IDN influence across U.S. regions. Our globally distributed team delivers innovative, data-driven solutions using agile and DevOps practices.
