We are seeking talented Software Engineers who can create scalable user experiences and API/Service-based solutions while collaborating with an experienced team of product development professionals. As a Software Engineer, will report to the Manager, Software Engineering in the IT Department, joining a cross-functional, DevOps based, Agile team responsible for the entire product development life cycle, encompassing conception, discovery, framing, development, testing, deployment, measurement, and continuous improvement. As a Software Engineer, you should possess expertise in both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. Additionally, we value individuals who are team players, possess a keen eye for visual design, and prioritize outcomes over outputs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
By collaborating closely with fellow product development team members, software engineers play a pivotal role in driving team-level success through the demonstration of the following key attributes:
- Collaborating with Users, Architects, Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to foster ideation and deliver cutting-edge software solutions. Strong communication skills.
- Participating in technical design, architecture discussions, and driving consistent high quality software development
- Participating in the documenting of software programs with flowcharts, layouts, charts, diagrams and other documentation
- Employing Test First and Acceptance Criteria Driven approaches to continuously test and deliver high-quality software
- Experience in implementing mobile responsive designs to ensure optimal user experiences across various devices
- Ensuring solutions meet non-functional requirements, such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability
- Performing code reviews & ensuring alignment with coding/design best practices
- Working in a collaborative team environment with other engineers and comfortable providing advice, coaching, and insights to peers on software
- Actively pursuing continuous professional growth by staying updated on new development tools, programming techniques, and best practices. Engaging in educational opportunities, keeping informed through professional publications, nurturing personal and professional networks, and actively participating in relevant professional organizations.

Education & Experience:
- 3-7 years of experience in Software Product Development
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar/related Engineering/Science based technical disciplines.
- Mulesoft Certified Developer, Microsoft Certifications.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate – Bonus
- Microsoft Certified Azure DevOps Engineer Expertise - Bonus
Skills & Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of demonstrating:
- Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in the following programming languages, C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL and JavaScript is essential. Software engineers should have a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Data / Database Skills: Competence with relational database SQL Server including proficiency with Data Definition Languages, Data Mark-Up Languages and ability to design and create database tables, views, functions and stored procedures
- Good understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Exchange.
- Experience with MuleSoft connectors, API management, and DataWeave transformations.
- Basic skills in identifying and resolving performance issues in MuleSoft applications.
- Certification: MuleSoft developer 1, MuleSoft developer 2, MuleSoft Integration Architect is a plus
- Exposure to agile project management practices.
- API Design and Development: Understanding of RESTful and SOAP API design and development.
- Familiarity with RAML (RESTful API Modeling Language) and OpenAPI for API specification.
- Skills in DataWeave for data transformation, including data mapping and transformations.
- Experience with XML, JSON, CSV, and other data formats.
- Good understanding of security principles and best practices, including OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS, and encryption.
- Exposure to implementing security controls for APIs and integrations.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience deploying and managing MuleSoft applications in cloud environments.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation using MuleSoft.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
- Experience managing source code repositories and branching strategies.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing dependable, secure, and scalable enterprise integration solutions, including APIs, real-time/batch ETLs, and orchestrations using the MuleSoft platform. Proficient in utilizing various MuleSoft components such as Design Center, Runtime 4.4+, API Manager, CloudHub 1.0/2.0, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave, Orchestration, and MessageQueues like AnypointMQ/RabbitMQ.
- Strong Salesforce integration experience with good understanding of salesforce object model, SOQL. Financial Cloud experience is a plus

- Testing and Debugging: Proficiency in automated software testing techniques, including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging, is important for ensuring the reliability and quality of software applications.
- Knowledge of Security Best Practices: Strong understanding of secure coding practices and the ability to apply them effectively in software development. Ability to implement security controls, conduct code reviews, and perform security-focused testing, ensuring adherence to industry standards and minimizing the risk of potential exploits.
- Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and industry-specific security standards,. Ability to design and implement software solutions that meet these compliance standards, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- System Design and Architecture: have a solid understanding of system design principles and architecture patterns, including scalability, performance optimization, and the ability to design robust and efficient software systems.
