The Role
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner you will ideally be experienced working across the lifespan with people who have a range of diagnosed disabilities. You will use your enquiring mind and person-centred approach to support individuals, families and carers in identifying strategies to increase their quality of life, delivering positive outcomes for people with complex support needs. You will be collaborative in your approach, partnering with families, health professionals and support workers, as well as individuals and organisations in the broader community.
In this role, you will be supported by our Behaviour Support Clinical Team Leader and Clinical Services Manager, plus other Behaviour Support Practitioners. Working in an interdisciplinary team alongside our dedicated OTs, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Exercise Physiologiost and Allied Health Assistants, you will have an opportunity to be a part of our Team around the Person model and approach.
There is also potential for clinicians to hold a separate caseload of discipline specific cases, if applicable.
What you will need to bring:
- A desire to provide optimal care for your clients, using your existing skills, but more importantly by pursuing continuous professional growth and improvement

You should have the standard qualifications:
- A valid working with children check
- Relevant Behaviour Support Qualifications [Core/Proficient or Advanced]
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a BSP [desirable]
- A valid West Australian drivers’ licence
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
