The Role:
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the finance function within a fast-scaling environment. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of financial reporting, strengthen control and compliance frameworks, and partner with business leaders to deliver insights that support decision-making. You’ll also be a key driver of finance transformation, helping to automate processes, optimise workflows, and lead system implementations that enable the business to scale with speed and precision.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assist preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Prepare monthly reconciliations, posting journals and ensuring accuracy at month end close
- Support with the preparation of the company’s budget and forecast cycles.
- Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis
- Maintain robust internal controls, financial processes and accounting policies
- Manage cashflow and banking arrangements and reporting are up to date
- Review of the direct debit process on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and process efficiency
- Help drive the implementation and optimisation of ERP platforms, expense management systems, and finance automation tools
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to modernise the finance function and support scalable growth
About You:
- Genuinely curious and passionate about health, wellness, and fitness.
- CPA/ CA qualified with Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Excellent excel and analytical skills
- Ability to build and improve reporting formats based on KPI’s (Power BI)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation, planning and prioritisation skills
- Experience in a growth scale business with the ability to handle pressure
- Ability to identify issues and solve problems in a collaborative manner with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate manual processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to modernise the finance function and support scalable growth
