The Opportunity

We are seeking a casual Facilities Officer – Cleaner to join our Facilities team. This role is vital in ensuring our campuses remain safe, hygienic, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, offices, and shared spaces
• Empty bins and follow recycling/waste management guidelines
• Respond promptly and professionally to cleaning or facilities requests
• Report maintenance or safety issues for timely resolution
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety across all campuses

About You

• Previous experience in commercial or institutional cleaning is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe handling practices
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and reliability
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good physical stamina for repetitive task
• Flexibility to work various shifts when require
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and courteous manner
• Current National Police Certificate and full Australian working rights required
