Job Description:

Client & Project: We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate on the project. A company that provides a wide range of insurance products and services to businesses and individuals.

Responsibilities:

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.

• Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Advanced proficiency in Java is required.
• Advanced proficiency in API Development is recommended.
• Advanced proficiency in Configuration & Release Management, Design & Build Enablement, and Build Management is suggested.
• Develop innovative application solutions that enhance user experience and meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application performance.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to foster a collaborative learning environment. 
• Brief JD and Skills Description
• + 5-year Java, Spring Boot
• + 5-year REST API Development & Integration
• + 5-year JPA
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) knowledge
• Experience with Postman or Similar APi tools
• Postgres DB: Experience working with Data Base and basic querying.
• Git, GitHub workflows
• Agile work experience
• DevOps exposure (CI/CD pipelines, containerization)
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or Gen AI-assisted development
• Basic Security Best Practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS / like Okta Integration)
• English advance.
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of studies.

• GitHub Actions
• React (for full-stack collaboration)
• Kubernetes or Docker
• Jira
