From contract preparation to shadow payrolls and international tax declarations, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth and compliant payroll operations across multiple countries. Your Responsibilities

As a Payroll Officer in our International Payroll team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll for our international workforce. You’ll work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to manage payroll from A to Z, including administration, reporting, and compliance.

Your Tasks Will Include:

  • Preparing, processing, and validating international payroll for both white- and blue-collar employees, including large volumes of data (up to 550 employees)
  • Reviewing payroll output reports and incoming timesheets with a critical eye to detect inconsistencies and ensure accurate processing of variable data
  • Performing timely and accurate month-end closing activities and salary finalizations
  • Managing payroll-related tasks in multiple systems, including occasional manual data entry and validation
  • Providing payroll-related reports to internal departments (Finance, Planning, HR) and external parties (tax authorities, pension providers)
  • Handling payroll and personnel administration tasks, including:
  • Acting as the main point of contact for employees regarding salary, leave, and sick leave
  • Preparing cost calculations related to payroll, including year-end bonuses, eco vouchers, and other benefits
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date management of various insurances (pension, disability, health)
  • Collaborating on the payroll administration of Belgian employees working abroad under the DOSZ system
  • Supporting the full payroll cycle for countries such as Austria, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Cyprus, the UK, and Latin America (knowledge of these is a plus, not a must)
  • Preparing contracts and onboarding documentation
  • Collecting and processing timesheets from various sources
  • Managing input forms (e.g. cost claims)
  • Preparing foreign tax declarations (shadow payrolls)
  • Processing personal data in the HR information system
  • Uploading tax forms (e.g. 281.10) and managing salary attachments

You’ll be part of a team working in an international context where no two days are the same. From contract discussions to insurance management and shadow payrolls, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a wide range of topics. You’ll also contribute to onboarding conversations and work closely with team leads who coordinate payroll responsibilities across different departments.

Your Profile

  • You have a strong interest in international payroll and HR administration. Payroll experience is a big plus
  • You are highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
  • You are a team player with a proactive, accurate, and customer-oriented mindset
  • You have advanced experience with Excel, MS Office, and ideally Workday
  • You’re eager to grow in a role that combines operational excellence with international exposure
