The Role:
As a LCV & Key Account Manager, your mission is to maximize the sales volume (customer order intake and registration volume) of our brands through building and managing an effective LCV dealer network and establish/strengthen relationships with national and international Key Accounts. You are an important link between the company and the dealer network, representing Astara and its brands in the network and alongside them with their larger customers. You are the key point of contact in negotiations and customer case management with OEM regarding key accounts and fleet customers such as KABE, municipalities, IKAs, etc. You support the network in scouting for and entering into public and government tendering processes, and are well versed in systems, rules and regulations controlling public sector purchasing of vehicles.
Main Functions/Responsibilities:
- Key Account Growth & Management – Achieve regional sales targets by developing strategies to improve # of and profitability of Key Accounts. Support the dealers with high level of LCV focus in KA negotiations and tendering processes. Own Key Account management of clients of 50 uts+ car park. Geographical area: Full country
- Operational Efficiency – Support planning of vehicle ordering and pipeline planning for key account supply.
- Customer Satisfaction – Negotiate support levels and delivery terms with OEMs in order to attract and close Key Accounts. Engage and motivate leasing companies to interact with our brands.
- Sales Leadership – Train, motivate, and performance manage dealership key account managers
- Solution selling - Work closely with customers to provide customized solutions, including vehicle specifications, conversions, and financing options. Collaborate with LCV product manager and conversion suppliers to ensure proper fit and delivery timelines.
- Market Analysis – Monitor trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adjust strategies on a local level (KA test drive events, leasing company engagement etc)
- The role is a traveling role and involves mandatory visits to dealers or key accounts 3 days per week, with office presence on Mondays and last week of the month.
- The role is based in Kista, Stockholm.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field, can be compensated by additional equivalent work experience in LCV/KAM in the car industry
- 3+ years’ experience in automotive Fleet Sales operations
- Proven success in sales growth, market expansion, and KA management.
- Experience in performance improvement.
- Personal network within Swedish financing, leasing, rental and KA areas
- Sales experience with LCV sales and the financing of these products in the Swedish market, conversions, their applications, and customer needs in various industries, from trades and logistics to specialized sectors
- Fluency in public tendering processes and systems
- Experience from camper van segments is meriting
Skills And Competences:
- Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken). Working proficiency in English is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Strong understanding of Fleet Sales and financing
- Full proficiency in municipality and big customer tendering (systems, processes, documentation)
- Ability to analyze KPIs and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship skills.
- Experience with Fleet lifecycle management and RV improvement.
