CME partners with Client Coverage and Specialised Finance by supporting their origination activities and owning the portfolio risk management functions for a portfolio of primarily infrastructure and energy clients. This includes providing pre-deal support, unique credit insights, owning the end-to-end credit execution and portfolio and risk management process for NAB’s portfolio of existing and targeted customers primarily in the sectors of infrastructure and energy.

Technical Capabilities:

Industry Knowledge

• Sound knowledge of global financial markets and the infrastructure and energy sectors and expertise in the applicable regulatory environments. 
• A strong understanding of commercial business practices and their application to a transaction. 

Credit Analysis and Verification  

• Advanced written skills and the ability to articulate complex borrowing structures in a concise and simple manner. 
• Advanced analytical/numerate skills and attention to detail with regards to the customer request, risk assessment, financial modelling / analysis and documentation knowledge. 

Risk Management

• Monitors industry and market developments to ensure best project and lending practices are being observed for existing and future transactions. 

General

• Commitment to meet deadlines and ability to manage multiple tasks: day-to-day work, deal related, people leadership and conduct/compliance training. 
• Knowledge of NAB product and service offerings relevant to the role and customer sector. 
• DCA accreditation is required.
