JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. We believe great hospitality starts with genuine connection, attention to detail, and a well-crafted experience. As a bartender, you’ll welcome guests, get to know their preferences, and recommend menu items. You’ll prepare and serve beverages and food with precision and care, upsell thoughtfully, and maintain a clean, organized bar. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine and craft beer is essential.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Prepare and serve beverages with accuracy, consistency, and attention to presentation
• Verify legal drinking age by checking guest identification
• Monitor bar inventory and place orders to ensure supplies remain well-stocked
• Comply with all food safety, hygiene and quality standards
• Process payments accurately, including cash, credit and debit transactions; issue change and balance the till as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar and surrounding area, including wiping surfaces, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing tools and equipment
• Other duties as required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position reports directly to the Manager, Full-Service Dining & Banquets with no direct supervisory requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
• Minimum 3 years bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant
• Meets provincial minimum age to serve alcohol
• Serving It Right certificate required
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
• Exceptional guest service, organizational and communication skills while maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with all team members
• Strong task and time management abilities, high energy and strong work ethic
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
• Ability to stand, walk, bend etc. for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.

$17.85/hour + gratuities
