Temp Conversion - Warehouse Worker - Mid Shift

•$17.51/hr + $0.20 shift differential

Job Responsibilities:

• • Must be able to operate a forklift. 
• • Must be able to lift small containers totes/cartons up to 25 pounds regularly.
• • Must be able to lift small containers totes/cartons up to 45 pounds occasionally.
• • May be required to move heavier objects, with assistance.
• • Will need to operate manual pallet jacks and other standard warehouse equipment.
• • Must be able to stoop, kneel, squat and crouch frequently.
• • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods at a time.
• • Must be able to reach with hands and arms.
• • Must be able to climb a ladder occasionally.
• • Must have adequate vision to accommodate driving industrial equipment.
• • Must have vision for close in work, also adequate distance vision to see part numbers at different rack levels or recognize potential visible hazards.
• • Must be able to operate simple mechanical devices like dock plates & stabilizer jacks.
• • Must be able to work up to 15 hours (emergencies only).
• • Must be able to tolerate hot/cold weather temperatures, as the warehouse is not climate controlled.
• • Facility might be noisy.
• • Associate might be exposed to some vibration from equipment.
• • Noise level in the work environment may exceed some person’s comfort level on occasion.
• Qualifications:
• • No prior warehouse experience required but preferred. 
• • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• • Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• • Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• • Flexible to work overtime preferred
• • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• • Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
