Senior IT Operations Specialist

The Team:

IT Operations & End User Services are part of Global IT. The group delivers the Digital Workplace and end user support to all Milestone employees, as well as operational services to ensure the availability of Milestone’s IT Services. We work from Milestone locations in EMEA, Americas and APAC. 

We are now looking for a Senior IT Operations Specialist based in Sofia, Bulgaria (hybrid mode of work).

What You Will Be Doing Most of the Time:

• Lead vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation efforts
• Oversee patch management and compliance across the organization
• Administer Milestone's server infrastructure and client endpoints 
• Maintain documentation and reporting for audits and compliance purposes
• Serve as Incident Manager during major incidents, coordinating technical teams and driving resolution (ITIL)
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support critical systems and respond to high-priority incidents (approx. 6 on-call duties per month)
• Onboard new IT services and applications to operations. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members

What We Expect:

5+ years of experience with operations in large enterprise IT environments.

Technical expertise in the following areas:

• Microsoft Intune, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Defender
• Operations security (vulnerability detection and management, security alerts handling)
• Microsoft Windows Server
• Virtualization – Hyper-V
• Cloud computing - Azure
• Active directory Domain Service
• TCP/IP Networking 
• ITIL
