To support our Neurovascular division Medtronic is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Therapy Sales Specialist. Based in either Norway or Denmark. You will play a critical role in driving the adoption and sales of our innovative neurovascular therapies. You will support physicians with advanced simulation software and train care teams using flow models.You will report to the Business Manager Benelux & Nordics and are expected to travel frequently to both Denmark and Norway. Given the travel requirements of this role, regular overnight stays are to be expected.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals
- Provide expert-level product knowledge and clinical support during product demonstrations, training sessions, and simulations. Case support (including set-up) and troubleshooting
- Support physicians with the use of simulation software to enhance procedural planning and outcomes. Train and educate care teams using flow models to ensure optimal product utilization and patient outcomes
- Manage the complete sales process, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiations, and post-sales support
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, clinical specialists, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Stay current with market trends, competitor information, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly. Regularly report sales performance, market insights, and customer interactions to the business manager
Required Knowledge And Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline or equivalent
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a sales role within the medical or healthcare industry, preferably with a focus on medical devices or therapies
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
