 As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you will leverage your extensive expertise in software, applications, and technical processes to contribute to the infrastructure engineering discipline. You will also have the opportunity to expand your technical and cross-functional skills beyond your primary area of specialization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver full lifecycle of vendor product solutions, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment to production
  • Manipulate, structure, and design data flows, optimizing queries using SQL and Python
  • Develop microservices to automate network implementations using REST and SOAP/XML APIs
  • Create tools and scripts for data transfer utilizing JSON and XML formatted files and service payloads
  • Design, develop, integrate, and deploy new tools to accelerate network infrastructure deployments
  • Evaluate, test, and integrate third-party tools and applications for seamless customer service
  • Review and enhance existing tools for improved performance and functionality
  • Support customer onboarding for new products, including documentation and training
  • Build and maintain dynamic dashboards using Grafana, Dynatrace, and Splunk
  • Operate effectively in a global, multi-time-zone environment


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in Linux and Oracle Database Administration
  • Exhibit strong network engineering skills and experience with Oracle Database Administration
  • Manipulate and optimize data using SQL and Python
  • Develop automation solutions using high-level programming languages such as Python and Bash scripting
  • Integrate and deploy tools across diverse network devices and vendors
  • Evaluate and test third-party applications for reliability and availability
  • Support engineering teams and end-users with technical documentation and training
  • Build dashboards and monitoring solutions using industry-standard tools
  • Operate in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 
  • Obtain network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
  • Demonstrate experience in software development and network automation using Ansible
  • Design and implement microservices for network automation
  • Create and maintain scripts for data transfer and automation
