Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on secure, stable applications
Writes high-quality production code using at least one programming language
Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems
Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to improve automation and value
Gathers, analyzes, and synthesizes data to identify problems and support decision-making
Learns and applies system processes and methodologies for secure, stable code and systems

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform, Kafka, Python, and database technologies
Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability
Skilled in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments using modern programming and database querying languages
Demonstrated ability to write code in one or more programming languages
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and its application in project delivery
Familiarity with agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
Exposure to cloud technologies
Experience with Snowflake or Databricks
