Summary

Responsible for the development, maintenance, audit and reporting of operational and analytical reports to end users. The ideal candidate will be certified with build experience in the following: Cogito Fundamentals.

  Three-years recent experience working with business intelligence tools that included system analysis and/or information technology activities is required. Experience with query commands using SQL database preferred. Experience creating Tableau dashboards in a production environment preferred. Healthcare experience required. The Business Analyst must demonstrate flexibility with respect to changing end-users needs. Must be Epic certified. If not currently certified in the specific area of responsibility, ability to obtain Epic certification is required within 3 months of training. Must pass all certification exams with a passing grade within three attempts for each test from each class required. May require flight travel to Verona, Wisconsin. Understanding of database design, able to analyze tables for data acquisition as well as analyze reports to ensure accuracy. Ability to effectively manage multiple activities of varying complexity while under time constraints.Customer service focus and ability to manage expectations with the attitude of recommending solutions rather than presenting problems. Excellent organizational, decision-making, negotiating, and analytical skills with the ability to influence outcomes. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Ability to work with user staff to determine report requirements and suggest courses of action for obtaining desired outcomes. Ability to apply standard and nonstandard technology applications as well as explore and adapt to changing technologies. Ability to monitor and track highly detailed and moderately complex reports and data analysis. Proactively recognizes needs, anticipate outcomes and consequences of different approaches and makes necessary modifications to plans to achieve desired outcome. Independently learns appropriate techniques to apply and adapt new ideas in related, different or changing situations. Aware of current information technology; ability to apply this knowledge to meet operational needs. Ability to work independently, in a remote or office setting. May require travel to multiple health system locations to collaborate with subject matter experts. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams is preferred.Hearing and verbal ability to interact professionally with staff, managers, and vendors. Visual acuity to deal with CRTs and printouts and manual dexterity to use standard keyboards are both required.
