Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Manage and mentor the India-based Shared Service Center Tax team, ensuring effective guidance and development while fostering a culture aligned with organizational values.
• Supervise the delivery of tax compliance operations to ensure all IFF-related obligations are met accurately and on time.
• Define, execute, and monitor a wide variety of process KPIs to drive operational efficiency and accountability.
• Review the design and execution of internal controls to maintain a fully compliant and controlled environment.
• Ensure readiness and successful outcomes for internal, external, and departmental audits or assessments.
• Review and oversee all tax compliance submissions, including corporate income tax returns, GST filings, and other statutory filings required in India.
• Recommend improvements to tax-related systems and internal controls to enhance compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Manage tax audits and disputes by working closely with tax authorities, legal advisors, and external auditors.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance and provide advisory support on the impact of such changes.
• Execute local transfer pricing operations, implement necessary pricing adjustments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support tax aspects of cross-border transactions.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Possess a degree in Finance or Accounting, and should be a qualified Chartered Accountant or CPA.
• Should have minimum of 10+ years of experience with at least 4 years in people and process management roles.
• Demonstrate strong accounting and tax knowledge, with the ability to apply it effectively in a dynamic business environment.
• Exhibit strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-country and cross-functional teams.
• Have hands-on experience in managing tax audits and dispute resolution processes.
• Drive continuous and long-term improvements in the quality and productivity of the team’s delivery.

How Would You Stand Out?

• Bring prior experience in Indian tax compliance or Big 4 firms, which will be considered a significant advantage.
• Maintain a flexible mindset to coordinate across borders and partner with multiple global tax managers.
• Be a strategic thinker who is honest, open-minded, transparent, and capable of navigating high levels of ambiguity.
