Job Summary
Our Hanko plant in Finland plays a key role in producing sustainable enzyme solutions for the Home & Personal Care, Animal Nutrition, and Food Enzymes markets. We are now looking for a proactive and solution-oriented Technical Documentation & Information Coordinator to join our team and help us keep our technical documentation organized, accessible and future-ready!As our Technical Documentation & Information Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining technical documentation across the plant and within project teams. You’ll ensure that engineering drawings, permits, and records are accurate, up-to-date and stored in line with quality standards.
You’ll work closely with experts in engineering, maintenance, and project management – both locally at Hanko and across our global network. This is a great opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while exploring new digital tools and innovative ways of working. This role also offers room to grow. Based on your skills and interests, you may have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities over time, such as supporting project portfolio coordination or stepping into a broader role in collaboration with internal stakeholders. What You’Ll Do
- Coordinate documentation needs throughout project life cycles
- Archive and manage project-specific technical documents (e.g., P&IDs, technical drawings, data sheets, manuals)
- Maintain plant-wide documentation, including facility layouts, utility maps, building permits and emergency plans
- Administer documentation systems and databases (e.g., SharePoint, IFF digital environments, external regulatory systems)
- Digitize legacy paper documents to ensure electronic accessibility and long-term usability
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering) or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in technical documentation management, ideally in an industrial or engineering setting
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and document management systems
- Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken (please note that proficiency in both languages will be checked as a part of the recruitment process)
- Ability to work on-site at our Hanko plant
Familiarity with any CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD or CADS) and/or experience with SAP (especially for equipment master data or document linking) is considered as a significant advantage.
