We are on the lookout for:

Job vacancy: MI Analyst

Your responsibility will be to provide support in the analysis of key metrics, market & industry trends and consumer behaviour while participating in the preparation of reports/dashboards with the aim of providing strategic support to the Management.

In this role you will,        

• Complete research and analyze data to develop and/or support a sound understanding of customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations;
• Support the collection of data and participate in reviews of business activities to identify opportunities for improvements;
• Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports;
• Resolve queries from internal or external stakeholders by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy;
• Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats;
• Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports;
• Ensure regulatory compliance by producing comprehensive regulatory reports. Review and consolidate the information being reported and make sure it is accurate and timely.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of

• Degree in either Mathematics, Statistics, Computing, Economics, Management Information Systems or Computer Science field;
• At least 2 years’ work experience in Finance/Business Analysis or MIS field within the Banking, Investment or financial industry; 
• Good knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SQL, Cognos and Python will be an advantage.

Or

• Diploma in either Mathematics, Statistics, Computing, Economics, Management Information Systems or Computer Science field; 
• 4 years' of equivalent work experience in Finance/Business Analysis or MIS field within the Banking, Investment or financial industry. 
• Good knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SQL, Cognos and Python will be an advantage.
