The Opportunity:
The main functions of this position are Preparation of media & diluents for micro analysis, environmental monitoring & microbial analysis of utilities in accordance with cGMP, GLP and safety standards. This position requires full participation and engagement in the onsite graduate programme.
Responsibilities:
Media Preparation, Environmental Monitoring & Assessing Data.
Provide support to the internal supply chain, Production schedules, projects and equipment utilisation. This can include the following:
- Preparation of media for microbiological analysis and environmental monitoring.
- Microbiological analysis of utilities e.g. water.
- Environmental monitoring of Production environments.
- Peer Review of data through use LIMS.
- Data trending, on-going and for PQR.
- Documenting any NC, OOT/OOS results generated. Participation in associated investigations, assessments, RCA’s and CAPA’s.
Other:
- Support/participate in continuous improvement projects in QC.
- Understand department KPIs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations where necessary and participate in lab meetings.
- Full participation in the Graduate programme including but not limited to mentoring programme and STEM programme
Educations/Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in a Science or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aseptic Technique Experience Culture Handling and/or experience in related industry is an advantage.
Additional information:
- This is a 2-year fixed-term contract starting on 1st September 2026.
- This position is on-site based in [Kerry plant Killorglin/Ireland]. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
