Instagram & Facebook Video Editor | ZR_27858_JOB

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• 20 hours per week 
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday (1 pm - 5 pm PST)

Client Timezone: PST

Scope:

• 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day
• Consistent daily schedule at the same time each day
• Focus specifically on video editing rather than content strategy or posting
• Work with pre-recorded footage provided by the client
• Maximum video length of 1 minute 10 seconds per final product
• Long-term ongoing role rather than project-based work
• Direct reporting relationship with academy leadership
• Performance evaluation during 90-day probation period

Responsibilities:

• Edit 10-15 minutes of raw footage down to 1-minute social media reels
• Create approximately 3 edited videos per week (12 per month)
• Identify and select the best moments from raw footage for maximum engagement
• Produce content that meets the academy's marketing and branding standards
• Work with provided raw footage to create polished, professional short-form videos
• Maintain consistent quality and style across all video content
• Complete basic graphics work as needed to enhance video content

Requirements

• Experience with video editing software and short-form content creation
• MUST SUBMIT SAMPLES OF SHORT VIDEOS AND REELS 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across 20 hours per week
• Understanding of social media video best practices, particularly for reels format
• Creative eye for identifying engaging moments within longer footage
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work during consistent daily 4-hour blocks
• Basic graphic design skills for simple visual enhancements
• Commitment to long-term partnership (minimum 6 months)
