Job Title: Medical Biller – Dme Operations
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to support our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in healthcare or medical billing, ensuring accurate claim submissions, timely reimbursements, and compliance with payer requirements.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive healthcare data while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process billing operations in the NikoHealth system (or similar medical billing platforms).
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility prior to billing.
- Prepare and submit accurate medical claims for reimbursement.
- Track claims and follow up on denials, rejections, or outstanding balances.
- Ensure billing practices comply with payer regulations and healthcare requirements.
- Maintain accurate billing and patient records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing inquiries.
- Previous experience in healthcare or medical billing is required (preferably in DME operations).

- MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
- Strong knowledge of insurance guidelines, claim processes, and billing codes.
- Proficiency with NikoHealth or similar medical billing software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to handle patient and provider interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of DME-specific billing and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance policies.
