Are you an experienced US tax professional looking to make an impact in the dynamic world of US corporate tax with focus on Mergers & Acquisitions? Deloitte Belgium’s US Tax team, part of our Global Business Tax group, is seeking talented Managers and Senior Managers to support clients throughout the entire M&A lifecycle.

About Us Our specialist US tax team advises corporate clients, private equity funds, management teams, and other stakeholders on all tax aspects related to mergers, acquisitions, disposals, refinancing transactions, and post-merger integrations. We work closely with US tax and M&A professionals across Deloitte’s global network, offering you a truly international and collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do As a key member of our US tax team, you will:

• Lead and contribute to exciting US tax and tax cross-border M&A projects, including due diligence and tax structuring.
• Provide expert advice on US Federal and state corporate tax, while considering other relevant taxes such as personal and real estate transfer taxes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and experts from Deloitte offices in the US and other countries.
• Engage directly with clients and advisors, helping to shape successful transactions.
• Bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table, driving continuous improvement within the team.
• Support business development efforts and help grow client relationships.
• Analyse complex US international tax issues within their specific business context and provide clear recommendations.

Who You Are

• A US tax professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally at Manager or Senior Manager level.
• Strong technical expertise combined with excellent business development skills.
• A natural leader with outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a diverse team.
• Able to prioritise effectively and manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Interested in expanding your horizons through international collaboration and travel.

To assist our clients in dealing with the intricacies of tax, our Business Tax team proposes the services of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists (lawyers, economists, accountants, IT-specialist, project managers), who are highly experienced. This experience spans assisting companies with corporate tax compliance, dealing with the complexities of local regulations and procedures - such as communicating with local tax authorities, setting up new registrations and filing returns. Our team in Hyderabad consists of professionals dealing with Corporate Income Tax compliance, pan-European Indirect Tax compliance, Statutory Accounting and general Project Management (including Engagement Coordination and Business Development).
