Key Responsibilities:

Innovate and Evaluate: Assess and recommend wireless telecommunications products and services tailored for our diverse target markets. 

Strategic Influence: Provide insightful recommendations on business cases for new products and services that drive our success. 

Collaborative Expertise: Support our sales and marketing teams with your technical knowledge to enhance customer experiences. 

Vendor Partnerships: Collaborate with vendors to develop, test, and certify products, ensuring excellence throughout their lifecycle. 

Cutting-Edge Solutions: Design, test, and certify LTE (4G) User Equipment (UE) solutions and Mission Critical Push-To-Talk (MCPTT) systems. 

Customer Satisfaction: Ensure quick resolution of hardware and software issues, delivering reliable and bug-free solutions to our customers. 

Technical Leadership: Act as a technical expert for Southern Company, influencing decisions and representing us in key technical discussions. 

What We'Re Looking For:

Educational Background: A BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is essential. 

Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in telecommunications or a related field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MS in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience in 3GPP standards and Mission Critical communications services
  • Working Knowledge of 4G,5G Qualcomm Tools for device logging and analysis
  • Working knowledge of Android and iOS architecture

Skills And Competencies:

  • Technical Mastery: Expertise in telecommunications technologies related to voice and data services. 
  • Customer Focus: Aptitude for applying wireless technology solutions to meet customer needs. 
  • Influential Communicator: Ability to articulate technical issues and influence decisions across diverse stakeholders.

  • IoT Innovator: Familiarity with Mission Critical Push-To-Talk and IoT solutions. 
  • Organized Analyst: Strong documentation and analytical skills. 

Project Manager: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
