About The Role
The Group Financial Analyst will take ownership of assigned areas with primary focus in the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements including P&L, BS and Cash-flow analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Group month-end reporting timeline and month-end process including reporting requirements from all regions across the Group.
- Preparation of monthly reporting for Group Management Accounts for the executive committee.
- Provide analysis and supports for movements within PnL and BS and has a strong understanding of the risks and opportunities across all GLAs.
- Monthly reconciliation between Group Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts.
- Ongoing development and improvement of reporting templates, tools and processes to ensure consistent and efficient reporting
- Working with the broader finance team to identify process improvements and updating or developing formalised accounting policies and standard operating procedures as required
- Take an active role in new company financial system integration and group-wide rollouts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CA qualification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar ole, with a focus on month-end processes and group reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Certinia, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Big 4 experience or experience with a listed company would be beneficial for the role
