We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, defining solutions, and ensuring the seamless implementation of HR and Retail technology, mostly focused on Learning tooling and processes. You will work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure that our systems are aligned with Rituals' objectives, while continuously identifying opportunities for process and integration improvements and optimizations. Your ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable insights will be key to driving successful outcomes.
You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from gathering business requirements and documenting them, to supporting the testing and implementation phases. Creative problem-solving, excellent communication, and a keen attention to detail are essential for success in this role. As we continuously evolve, you will help ensure that we maintain a clear vision and focus on delivering solutions that make a difference for the business. Next to that you will support our business teams to help them adopt tooling in the business process.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders (HR, Retail) to document detailed requirements,
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve business processes for efficiency and integration compatibility.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to create actionable functional specs, solving complex issues with clarity.
- Testing Support: Oversee unit and user acceptance testing to meet business needs and quality standards.
- Problem Resolution: Address and prevent incidents and disruptions.
- Integration Monitoring: Monitor the performance of various integrations, identifying areas of improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain clear project records in Jira and Confluence.
- Data-Driven Insights: Develop and utilize Google Cloud Platform to validate integration output.
- Expert Consultation: Leverage insights and guidance from our AMS partner on specialized topics to ensure alignment with industry best practices and expert solutions.
- Focus on Innovation: You drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance learning experiences through data-driven insights and forward-thinking solutions.
- Supporting the Business: Making sure all learning tools are used to its full potential and help key stakeholders with technical issues if needed.
Qualifications
You are energetic, humble, with a sense of humor. You have excellent problem solving, documentation and communication skills. You can adapt to the fast-paced way of working at Rituals. You want to explore new tooling and domains, are service-minded, tidy and well-organized and have a positive “we’ll figure it out’ attitude. You get energy from working closely with colleagues with different perspectives to achieve shared goals.
You Also Have:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Education).
- Experience with Learning systems within a retail organization. Experience with Docebo and/or Elucidat is a plus.
- You are inquisitive by nature and have a high attention for details.
- You are a strong organizer with a knack for effective planning and task management.
- You have excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between business requirements and technological solutions
- You are data-driven with excellent analytical skills to measure and optimize product impact
- You thrive in an international, dynamic environment where English is often the language of choice
Location and Working Conditions
While flexible working is available, this role requires a strong on-site presence to engage with stakeholders and build connections effectively. This role is based in Amsterdam at our Central Head Office.
