We Are Looking For Motivated Manager, Global Procurement And Supply Planning Processes!

Valmet’s Flow Control business line is one of the leading providers of mission-critical flow control solutions and services for process industries. We employ about 2,850 people in approximately 40 countries. With our global team of experts and innovative solutions, we help our customers to improve their process performance and ensure the safe flow of materials

Now we are strengthening our global operating model and looking for a motivated Manger to take ownership of our procurement, supply planning, and buying processes. This role will drive harmonization across our factories, ensuring best practices, efficient tools, and aligned reporting are in place to support our business globally. Success in this role will be measured through KPIs defined for Flow Control, reflecting process efficiency, tool adoption, and global alignment.

Location is in Vantaa, Finland (or other major Valmet Flow Control site).

Who Is The Professional We Are Looking For?

• Act as the global process owner for procurement, supply planning, and buying processes, tools, and reporting (excluding sourcing activities).
• Lead the development and deployment of planning and procurement tools across new countries and sites.
• Support local teams in adopting global processes through training and hands-on guidance.
• Define and implement common KPIs to support performance management across global teams.
• Ensure efficient and consistent use of tools and processes.
• Collaborate closely with factories, sourcing, IT, Sales Support, Project Units, and external partners involved in system and tool development.

To Be Successful In This Role

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or procurement roles.
• Familiarity with M3 ERP, Kinaxis, Power BI, MS Office, and Lean tools.
• Development-driven mindset and openness to working across cultures.
• Experience working in a global matrix organization.
• Fluency in English; Finnish is considered an asset.
