As Associate Manager, US Co-Brand Portfolio Marketing, you will lead the strategy, development and execution of marketing campaigns for IHG’s Co-Brand credit card portfolio. In this role, you will ensure marketing plans and processes are operationally feasible at all levels, and provide a direct feedback loop to stakeholders, including partners. You will also ensure that all marketing programs, plans and processes are integrated and support the overall Company marketing vision, objectives and goals for assigned initiatives.
Your day to day
- Develop, communicate and implement an annual Co-Brand Portfolio (Cardmember) marketing plan. Develop processes and delivery systems for all marketing programs that result in a continuous improvement of actual performance versus strategy.
- Monitor progress against agreed objectives, including financial, and formally report progress at defined intervals. Monitor and control all budgeted product expenditure to constantly achieve enhanced cost effectiveness and product value, and control and approve the work of assigned promotional design agencies on marketing initiatives. Conduct monthly budget audits and reconcile budget allocations.
- Through liaising with stakeholder teams, influence success and implementation of marketing initiatives. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all functions at all levels to ensure maximum benefit from cross-functional synergies.
- Initiate, develop and manage all aspects of marketing initiatives and standards, including Bank regulations and controls. May independently direct specific product initiatives to include strategic planning, project management, implementation, evaluation and training.
- Monitor all relevant competitive activity across all elements of the marketing mix and make appropriate recommendations to management.
- Manage and develop one (1) direct report.
What we need from you
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
- Eight or more years of progressive work-related experience in marketing, advertising, and/or hotel industry experience related to sales and/or brand marketing, with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position
- Experience with campaign management, comms plan development, go-to-market strategies and marketing tools.
- Familiarity with direct marketing and analytics techniques and systems (campaign management process and analytics).
- Experience with tests and learn scenarios and planning matrices, execution across a variety of channels.
- Ability to work in an integrated creative, agile environment with the ability to translate customer analytics output into insight for developing creative briefs.
- Ability to direct creative processes to build compelling messaging and creative concepts, while understanding Legal and Compliance impacts from financial partners.
- Experience identifying marketing opportunities utilizing first and third party information. Ability to translate observations into business applications.
- Extremely detail oriented, highly organized, excellent time management skills and a technical aptitude for understanding complex systems.
- Understanding of relationship dynamic between external partners
- Team player with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on problem solving.
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $46,226 to $70,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
