General Labor Sitework Operations- Cookeville, TN

Rogers Group is seeking general laborers for sitework operations to include work related tasks in grading, storm, sewer and utilities to join our construction team based out of Cookeville, TN. This is a hands-on position. Competitive starting wages and great benefits!

The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• General utility or pipeline construction and labor experience; storm water, sewer, grading and utilities 
• Control vehicle flow around the wor ksite. 
• Assist other workers as needed or directed  and other duties as assigned by management
• Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
• Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include site clean-up, using a rake/shovel, flagging, and other duties as assigned
• Ability to learn quickly

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a dedication to safe work practices
• Able to work outdoors in extreme conditions, such as cold, heat, and humidity.
• Able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is a plus.
